Fund Accountant

As a member of the Fund Accounting Team, you will be responsible for delivery of exceptional fund administration services to a range of clients (hedge fund, private equity fund, fund of funds or family office) and act as a point of contact for your clients providing them with a consistently high level of service.

Prior fund accounting experience is not required and on the job training will also be provided. The role is a based in Singapore.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintaining the books and records of the funds.
  • Completion of client reporting.
  • Liaising with clients on a day-to-day basis and acting as a primary contact for clients.
  • Manage the audit process ensuring timely and successful completion of fund audits including preparation of fund financial statements.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A person with 1 to 3 years working experience in the funds industry. A qualified accountant is preferred but not a must.
  • A self-directed, client focused individual with excellent communication skills.
  • A person with a strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting.
  • Flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines both within a team structure or independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc.) and Paxus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Singapore Citizen or PR required
