KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist senior staff and head chef in the preparation of ice-creams / Gelato & related products
- Assist in preparation of the mise-en-place for daily operations (Measures, mixes, and prepare ice cream / gelato ingredients)
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and refrigerator areas
- Keep kitchen equipment and tools in good order and report any defect/malfunction
- Comply with the safety and hygiene standards at all time
- Carry out any ad hoc duties as per assigned by the management
- Check inventory and requests resupply when necessary
- Need to do washing of utensils, cleaning of equipment and cleaning of kitchen by all the kitchen staff
- Follow the standards set by company
Requirements
- Education background in culinary skills preferred, no experience required
- Has a passion for gelato making and possesses a positive attitude
- Good hygiene when handling food
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
