Responsibilities:
- Direct and guide the team through all project development stages, including cost estimation, site surveys, technical proposals, and project contracting strategies.
- Strategically manage project risks and finances, ensuring timely initiation and completion of each project phase.
- Formulate and execute strategic and operational plans for project success, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Develop and implement robust project quality procedures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Make timely, strategic decisions and provide clear direction to project managers for effective implementation.
- Devise and implement cost-effective plans and strategies to optimize project development and execution.
- Offer leadership, guidance, and coaching to project managers, fostering their growth and enhancing their skills in project management and engineering.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation and management, maintaining strong team performance and morale.
- Regularly meet with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on project progress and build strong relationships.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulatory and authority requirements.
- Enhance the competency levels of project personnel to meet business and operational needs.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining systems and procedures (e.g., SOPs) for efficient project development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in EPC turnkey project development and execution.
- Proven expertise in renewable energy, energy & utilities, and process plant projects is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage high-performing teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
