Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for deployment, maintenance, upgrade, and support of ICT infrastructure, including but not limited to:
-Firewalls
-Network
-Windows Servers
-Virtualization (VMWare/Hyper-V)
-Storages
-Backup Solutions
-Microsoft 365
-Microsoft Azure
-AWS
- Responsible for customers’ power maintenance, upgrade of firmware and patching of systems.
- Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with business users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
- Manage the IT Asset Management including hardware and software license management.
- Be prompt and meticulous in updating of daily incidents handled into the incident management tool.
- To be highly customer-focus and diligent towards providing good customer service.
- Other duties such as annual DRP/BCP test and other tasks assigned.
- Responsible in project implementation and migration for client’s infrastructure upgrade or new start-up environment.
- Perform end-to-end service delivery to meet the clients’ requirements on implementation, maintenance and support the infrastructure systems.
- Responsible on infrastructure project which include understanding user requirement, solutioning, conduct UAT, implementation and run live.
- Responsible for supporting and implementing both IT and Cloud infrastructure.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and work as team when required.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
- Diploma/Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Computer Information System or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience, System Integrator environment preferred.
- Proven experience in IT support services field.
- Practical skills and experience in the following:
-Firewalls
-Network
-Windows Servers
-Virtualization (VMWare/Hyper-V)
-Storages
-Backup Solutions
-Microsoft 365
-Microsoft Azure
-AWS
- Understanding on network and server fundamentals.
- Practical experience in effective time management, including ability to prioritize & multitask
- Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems.
Skills:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills
- Knowledge in Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019 environments.
- Basic knowledge in networking switches and port management
- Capability of seeing the tasks assigned holistically, able to break-down the task in detail and follow-through end-to-end.
- Good communication as this role needs to handle internal and external customers.
- Service oriented engineer to internal and external customer.
- Ability to provide IT training and awareness to other department users.
- Microsoft/Cisco/ITIL foundation certification a plus.
