PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The candidate will be responsible for management of Sourcing/ Procurement for categorial materials, services & EPC turn-key
sourcing and tender management, including contracting of category/services/full EPC turnkey projects. Candidate will also
need to manage supplier relationships including registration/pre-qualification of suppliers. This applies to both Singapore and
Indonesia projects.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of Sourcing Strategy for key materials/services
- Preparing for the sourcing/purchase of materials/equipment, services, and supplies.
- Following and enforcing Sembcorp’s procurement policies and procedures.
- Tender management, including reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as vendor pre qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
MAJOR CHALLENGES
The candidate will be someone who has experience in working with a team of professional, with the ability to collaborate with team members and drive to achieve procurement KPIs in fast pace environment, with the ability to multitask and complete assigned projects within the given deadline.

- Ability to source for alternative categorial and non categorial materials/equipment’s independently
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree with 10 years sourcing/procurement experiences.
- Candidates with solar experiences will have advantage

- Knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM) modules will be preferrable
- Knowledge/experiences in using GEP for tender/RFQ
- Knowledge of Logistics and Import processees
