Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing, managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of business unit.
- Managing project life cycle from planning to closure, scheduling and tracking of project progress.
- Managing project budgeting and coordination including reports and documentation preparation.
- Oversee the logistics in trading activities, including shipment scheduling and tracking.
- Coordination with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Handle import and export documentation and ensure in compliance with regulations.
- Assist in managing sales orders process and liaison with sales teams to meet customers’ requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with procurement for stock replenishment.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained in all trading activities and project deliverables.
- Conduct inspections and audits to align with quality requirements.
- Evaluating safety standards, enforcing regulations and conduct regular safety inspections to stay in compliance with regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to address any performance gaps.
- Assist in overseeing the operations team, mentor and support team members.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in relevant discipline.
- Preferably with relevant experience in construction or quarry operations.
- Demonstrate ability to manage projects, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good team player who possess drive, initiative and ability to work independently.
