Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Support Engineer based in Puchong HQ, Selangor. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for performing engineering design, calculation and reports according to operations and sales department requirement.
He / She also assists in coordinating technical training plans and preparation / compilation of training materials and involve in Technical Support for Operation & Fabrication, eg. Assisting operation team to plan and to prepare documentation for QC work & assisting fabrication team to perform job preparation and QC work
Qualifications
1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
2. Good in computer, MS Office applications
3. Good communication skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both oral and written
4. Good interpersonal skills and willingness to travel.
5. Independent and able to work under pressure.
Specific Knowledge
1. Good in engineering drawing software – AutoCAD, Solidworks
2. Working experience in design / fabrication of vessel / piping / tank
3. Familiar with ASME VIII pressure vessel code and other relevant codes of piping and vessel.
4. Have a good knowledge of process plant operations and maintenance work.
