As an Officer, Quality Distribution under Singapore Replenishment Centre, you are tasked to oversee quality system for the warehousing & repackaging operations that is responsible for our global manufacturing sites.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Meet quality objectives set by management & comply to Alcon, QMS and Safety requirements.
- Support, perform and/or lead internal audits, supplier audits and external/regulatory audits, including updating and maintenance of system related to audits. Responsible for audit finding closure, as required.
- Responsible for supplier quality management (selection, qualification, and monitoring) and is the primary quality interface with the suppliers.
- Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers on resolving of quality issues to closure for all incoming & production rejects through supplier action request (SAR) process.
- Support site impact / gap assessment and remediation against new/revised External Standards and Corporate SOPs.
- Coordinate/Manage Management Review, consolidate monthly data and prepare monthly summary report for site quality metrics reporting into Global Platform.
- Timely initiation of NCRs and product on-hold activities.
- Conduct and support investigations for non-conformances, FAAs and customer complaints.
- Trend, analyze and monitor key performance indicators, suggest improvements, and escalate to supervisor/management as necessary.
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead/support the implementation activities to improve performance and efficiency.
- Review and approve distribution activities, such as change request, nonconformance, CAPA, escalation, SAR and customer complaints.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by Supervisor according to business needs.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Diploma, preferably in Science, Life Science, Engineering or other appropriate education and experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or supply chain industry.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Quality Management system
- Added knowledge or experience with ISO 13485/ GMP standards would be highly advantageous but not a must
