Job Overview: As a Food Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production processes within the food manufacturing facility. This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and optimizing production efficiency. The Food Manufacturing Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a smooth workflow, meeting production targets, and upholding product quality.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise Production: Oversee day-to-day operations in the food manufacturing plant, ensuring that production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  2. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and productivity.
  3. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet regulatory standards and customer specifications.
  4. Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings, and addressing any potential hazards promptly.
  5. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. Collaborate with other departments to implement changes that enhance overall production performance.
  6. Inventory Management: Oversee raw material and finished goods inventory levels, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  7. Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance staff to schedule and oversee equipment maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability.
  8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including daily production reports, quality control documents, and incident reports. Provide regular reports to management on production performance.
  9. Compliance with Regulations: Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure that the production processes comply with food safety standards and other relevant regulations.
  10. Communication: Foster effective communication channels within the production team and collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance, logistics, and management, to achieve overall organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Able to work on weekend shift and night shift
