Job Description
- Manage all welding activities
- Lead a team of welding supervisors and workers to supervise all welding works
- Provide advice and solution on welding issues at site
- Lead all PQR and WQT for the company in liaison with QA/QC Department
- Plan all welding works to meet the project schedule
- Ensure staff are well trained and skilled to supervise welding works
- Feedback to Construction Manager, QA/QC Manager and Project Manager on the progress of welding works
- Ensure all welding activities are performed in accordance to project specifications and objectives in terms of KPI
- Recommend the type of consumables to be used per project
- Provide an estimation of the consumables requirement and consumption per project
- Ensure consumable stock level is always pre-ordered and maintain at optimum level
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in structural and piping fabrication welding process
- Good planning, organization, control, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
