Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Project leading and managing for Pharma or Biopharma clients for DCS system (Emerson DeltaV).
- Team lead and mentor for automation engineers and graduates trainees.
- Defining project infrastructure Scope and requirements, Planning shopfloor network architecture, networking, and hardware deployment in Clean room environment for Pharma and Bio Pharma.
- Technical delivery of automation infrastructure and hardware systems as required by project teams.
- Liaising directly with the vendor in terms of status of orders and delivery plans
- Will drive the client requirements to Functional Specifications and Design for automation and guide engineers for deliverables for projects
- Work with various teams to design system architecture, Philosophy and standards for Design Specifications, Control Strategies, and library elements.
- Based on client requirements supporting manufacturing operations from networking and DCS side, for day today support.
- Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes
- Continuous improvement of the system and support for Operations.
- Design and Deployment of OT networks and qualification.
- Set System administration and maintenance support process and work with team to deliver.
- Able to work with Process, Operations, Technology Development and Quality team for driving and delivering automation project
Requirements:
· Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry.
· Experience in the Designing and commissioning of DeltaV DCS project for GMP manufacturing site.
· Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc)
· Through understanding of OT Networking and Virtualization in OT environment for Pharma and Bio Pharma.
· Experience leading and managing Engineers and Senior Engineers.
· Understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical process
· Expert in of automation hardware and networking technologies
· Emerson DeltaV DCS Batch experience required
· Expert with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharma
· Ability to work well in a team environment.
· Able to manage multiple party coordination for automation projects and manufacturing support.
· Have understanding of Project Management Process or PMP certification.
