Job Title: Assistant Accounts Manager (APAC)
Position Summary:
The Assistant Accounts Manager will oversee financial activities and reporting for subsidiaries and representative offices in the APAC region (Indonesia and Malaysia). This role ensures compliance with local regulations and corporate policies, working closely with external accountants, auditors, and tax agents to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Manage financial operations of APAC subsidiaries and representative office, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Team Supervision: Guide and supervise finance teams in Singapore on accounting practices, reporting, and compliance.
- Point of Contact: Serve as the main contact for financial matters, providing guidance and resolving issues.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and local regulations in all financial activities.
- Coordination: Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and tax agents for timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Manage preparation, audit, and filing of financial statements for APAC subsidiaries.
- Month-End Close: Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of month-end close, including journal entries, schedules, and financial result analysis.
- Financial Analysis: Provide analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work with in-country Project and Admin Teams.
- Inter-Company Transactions: Handle inter-company billings and transactions.
- Local Accounts: Manage full sets of accounts for local related party companies, including an Investment Holding Company and a Corporate ICT Solutions provider.
- Claims and Payments: Oversee staff and petty cash claims, and vendor payments for Singapore HQ.
- Additional Duties: Perform other accounting and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
