Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the healthcare, life sciences, and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within these sectors, leveraging industry knowledge and networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including hospitals, research facilities, and pharmaceutical companies, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities, providing insights to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to target audiences, enhancing brand visibility and market penetration.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective lients and consultants, effectively communicating the value proposition of our ductwork solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, networking with potential clients and partners.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their sales goals and develop their skills.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the healthcare, life sciences, and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our ductwork products and services, as well as advancements in HVAC technology relevant to the target sectors.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that client requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and project plans.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Design and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Develop and execute customer retention strategies to ensure long-term client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Identify potential risks in the sales process and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Work closely with other departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer projects.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of ductwork systems and HVAC industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
