Our client is a leading provider of food, water, and environmental testing services across APAC region. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Laboratory Manager to be part of their Chemical Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.
Duties of Laboratory Manager:
- Document, revise, and assess lab methods in collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Business Development teams.
- Contribute to strategic planning and projects to meet customer needs and expand lab capabilities.
- Plan and coordinate validation of chemistry test methods, reporting progress to leadership.
- Lead staff development, implement training programs, and conduct weekly technical training sessions.
- Monitor technical performance, ensuring competency through standardized KPIs and addressing any issues.
- Provide technical support across sites, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
- Assess market needs for testing services and support budget planning and reporting.
- Maintain scientific integrity, ensuring quality control and resolving any technical issues.
- Lead customer communication, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring prompt resolution.
- Participate in technical audits, driving continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment practices.
Requirements:
- PhD in Chemistry
- 10 years of relevant experience with Food Testing Lab and Commercial Testing Lab
