Roles and Responsibilities:
Experience supporting mission critical storage & data protection solutions is highly desired, leading high level and low level design , developing Proof Of Concepts, developing test plans, working with internal customers on requirements determination and implementing them.
· Experience in implementations, monitor and support the resolutions.
· Analyze complex hardware and software issues associated with storage & backup-related technologies, including Hitachi,EMC VMAX, HPE 3par,Netapp & DataDomain
· Resolve complex problems with little or no guidance; independently research and promote specialized technical solutions;
· Identify the data storage, management, protection and disaster recover requirements of the various applications and business systems in use across the core shared infrastructure
· Experience with Enterprise data protection and disaster recovery solutions and understand Enterprise application data management requirements.
· Ability to apply knowledge of SAN fabric architecture principles to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions, including zoning, tape drives, tape libraries, disk storage, virtual tape libraries, storage mirroring and deduplication.
· Ability to work on project teams, delivering on key project milestones, and communicating effectively with a wide variety of people.
· Participation in Disaster Recovery infrastructure planning, building, and testing.
· Experience with large storage environments (10PB+).
· Experience in performance, tuning and capacity planning is required; as is experience with proactive monitoring and automation.
· Strong organizational skills are necessary; experience working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data required an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in environments dealing with ambiguity; Excellent planning, interpersonal, problem solving, leadership skills are required; excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation are necessary; active listening skills are required
Job requirements: Experience/Educational qualification/Competencies
o Minimum of 10+ years of Storage and DataCenter Operations and Solution Management for an IT Services Company is a MUST
o Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in architect Role in IT Services.
o Minimum of 4 years of experience working in Data Center related activities.
o Experience in managing global stakeholders and people.
o Must have proven experience in managing large complex clients with revenue of at least 60M USD
o Candidate should have a proven track record of creating and managing a portfolio of 8+MN USD for IT services.
o Candidate should be able to quickly build a network of technology and service partners to drive market conversations
o Should be ready for extensive travels within and outside the county.
