Primary Function:
- Managing some of the budding and potentials brands of EPD Singapore which have a lot of potential and can drive strong growth. Also, to help the other product managers with some of the operational responsibilities across brands.
- Responsible for issuing monthly proposed forecasts, developing promotional materials and marketing programs, organizing product launch activities, developing training materials & conducting product training, conducting medico marketing activities, driving trade visibility and promotional activation, and performing all other activities that result in the growth of the brand/brands.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate the practicality and potential of new products and market developments.
- Coordinate the development of marketing strategies, advertising, and promotion programs and ensure their execution.
- Analyze market trends and sales potential, and issue monthly proposed forecasts with suggested action plans to achieve the proposed forecast.
- Maintain contact with key customers to follow up on promotional efforts and keep informed on the needs of the customers.
- Review the performance of existing product sales by channel and customer as appropriate and submit recommendations for changes in the marketing plan to remedy the situation.
- Develop promotional materials and marketing programs following cycle product promotion.
- Drive strong medico-marketing programs along with the medical manager to tap undeveloped market segments, indications, dosages, new studies, or any other growth opportunity.
- Identify new marketing opportunities through routine joint visits with the field force. Provide technical/academic information to assist the field force in product promotion and handling competition in partnership with the medical manager.
- Develop training materials and conduct refresher-training courses for the field force in partnership with the medical manager.
- Manage the brand advertising budgets and ensure that budgets are annually spent and not under or overspent.
- Build strong relationships with the Key Accounts to get market and therapy area insights and drive business opportunities.
- Drive the Multichannel engagement on the brands to ensure a strong Share of Voice and reach to the doctors.
- Increase focus on the Medico Marketing Activities to enhance the engagement and education of the doctors on our products.
- Be the key touchpoint for some of the operational roles in the Marketing Team, and drive Blitz material, Spectra Approvals, and similar activities across brands.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy/ Marketing/Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Marketing in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. Candidates with prior Sales experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Background in ethical marketing is required
- Experienced in managing multiple brands in the portfolio
- Strong communication skills. Demonstrates effectiveness in communicating with the field force.
- Knowledge of consumer insights, competitors, and trends and has demonstrated implications to strategy development.
- Operationally efficient and able to multitask: Need to be able to handle multiple brands and need to complete committed assignments as per the agreed timeline.
