RESPONSBILITIES:
- Develop strategic business plan for regional Calculators/Label Printers business aligned with Japan HQ directives and ensure that the Company’s sales and profitability objectives are met.
- Work closely with local and regional country sales managers and monitor the progress to ensure that plans are properly executed.
- Set key business performance indicators for sales team and business partners.
- Analyst market conditions and explore new business partnering opportunities to grow the Calculators/Label Printers business in ASEAN region.
- Liaise closely with HQ and local sales teams to prepare annual sales and budget plan, review and revise monthly sales forecast where necessary, monitor budget utilisation.
- Revise and take corrective actions to adjust or close gaps between plan and actual results in accordance to changes in market conditions or trends.
- Negotiate with business partners on business plans, targets and budget allocation.
- Work with local sales teams and business partners to create sales and marketing initiatives to meet sales targets.
- Prepare and summarise regional performance monthly reports and report to local Management and Japan HQs.
- Keep abreast of market development and consumer preferences and collate feedback to submit to Japan Headquarters for R&D purposes.
- Disseminate information from Japan Headquarters to regional offices and ensure consistency in communication and execution.
- Proceed marketing activities related to mathematics education through collaboration with advisers located in Japan
- Translation of English reports to Japanese version for management reporting purposes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Degree in Business Administration or related fields.
- At least 10-15 years of relevant work experiences in Japanese MNCs
- Strong leadership and communication skills, effective business advisor to Management.
- Good business acumen and related sales management experience in FMCG Electronics products.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Proficient in Japanese language (JLPT N1) to read, write and converse fluently in both Japanese and English when liaising and reporting between Japanese HQ and its overseas subsidiaries on day to day basis.
