What you'll do:
As a Trade Support Associate in Private Banking, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a variety of tasks. You will ensure the timely and accurate capture of trades while also dealing with any discrepancies that may arise. Your role will involve monitoring and processing trade lifecycle events as well as controlling, reconciling, and resolving any exceptions in the trade processing. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with technology teams on the implementation of new processing platforms and system enhancements. Furthermore, you will collaborate with legal/compliance, IT and project teams to analyze new regulatory reform requirements and deploy new processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate trade capture and checkout
- Resolve trade discrepancies by liaising with trading, sales and relevant teams
- Monitor and process trade lifecycle events
- Control, reconcile, and resolve the trade processing exceptions
- Work with technology for implementation of new processing platforms and system enhancements
- Analyze new regulatory reform requirements and deploy new processes with legal/compliance, IT and project teams
- Perform daily control processes for regulatory reporting to local regulators
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Trade Support Associate role will bring a wealth of experience from an Operational role within the banking sector. A university degree coupled with 3-5 years' experience is essential. Experience in Private Banking would be highly beneficial as would previous experience within a global investment bank. The ability to deal effectively with sales/traders and clients is crucial as is high personal commitment and integrity. A good understanding of products, business operations along with excellent communication skills are key to success in this role.
- University degree with 3-5 years of experience in an Operation role
- Experience in Private Banking is preferable
- Experience with global investment bank, especially in Commodities or Fixed Income OTC is advantageous
- Ability to deal effectively with sales/traders and clients
- High personal commitment and integrity
- Good understanding of products, business and operational knowledge
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
