Position: Application Engineer (Electronics/North) - CK
Job Description
・Conduct evaluation study on sample product for LED lighting selection, machine vision components feasibility test, and image processing capability test, at our in-house test lab or at customer site.
・Provide technical consultation on machine vision components such as lighting, lenses, cameras, and controllers as per inquiries.
・Liaise with machine vision component vendors or integrators on technical-related matters.
・Provide technical consultation on client distributing products.
・Conduct lighting seminars and training to new prospective or existing customers.
・Manage test labs equipment and prepare demo loaners to customers.
・Support sales team with technical knowledge and project advisory.
・Inspection for returned loaners (physical appearance and basic functionality check).
・Conduct product failure analysis with report generation.
・Standby for ad-hoc task, including but not limited to products and technical projects.
Job Requirement
・Possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical) or equivalent.
・Knowledge in machine vision or automation will be an added advantage.
・Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.
・Willing to travel when required.
