What you'll do:

As a Retail Area Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's stores across Singapore. You will champion their mission of sustainability, ensuring it permeates every aspect of the business from staff interactions to customer service. Your exceptional skills in delivering outstanding service will drive sales growth and foster brand loyalty. You will maintain an impeccable standard of store presentation and visual merchandising while also enhancing customer satisfaction through your leadership. Your ability to create brand ambassadors among staff and customers alike will further strengthen the brand's presence in the market. Additionally, you will be instrumental in driving sales goals, understanding how to enhance average order values, customer return rates, and new customer acquisition. Your role will also involve hiring and identifying new team members, fostering a culture people want to work in long-term.

  • Embody the company's mission to pull 1m KGs of plastic from the ocean and ensure all staff relay this commitment to customers.
  • Deliver outstanding service to all clients, driving sales growth through brand loyalty and a luxury experience.
  • Maintain the highest standard of store presentation and visual merchandising.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty by ensuring all teams deliver high customer service standards.
  • Create staff and customers that become brand ambassadors.
  • Uphold and enhance brand standards around cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.
  • Drive sales goals and demonstrate a clear understanding of how to enhance average order values, customer return rates and new customer acquisition.
  • Hire and identify new team members from sales staff to store supervisors, training them to grow as the company grows.


What you bring:

As the Retail Area Manager, you bring a wealth of experience in retail and customer service operations. Your management experience, particularly in high-end clothing or accessories, will be invaluable in this role. You have a proven track record of hiring, developing, training, and motivating associates at all levels. Your high level of customer care experience enables you to manage complex issues with ease. Your high energy, confidence, and sociability make you an excellent fit for this role. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be key in engaging customers and staff alike. Your proficiency in customer engagement, basic merchandising, and visual skills will be essential in maintaining the brand's high standards.

  • Minimum 8 years in retail with at least 4 years in customer service operations.
  • At least 5 years management experience.
  • Experience in high-end clothing or accessories is essential.
  • Proven ability to hire, develop, train, and motivate all levels of associates.
  • High level customer care experience with ability to manage complex issues.
  • High energy, confident and sociable personality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in customer engagement, basic merchandising, and visual skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
