In this role, you will be part of a team designing, automating, and deploying AWS services on behalf of our customers. This is a dynamic industry and the problems you will solve are constantly evolving. What will you be doing?
- Work with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of AWS projects, including migration, containerization and transformation
- Write infrastructure as code, with experience in Terraform
- Perform AWS environment troubleshooting and setup
- Meet customer SLAs and managing communication in case of issues
- Configure and maintain backup, monitoring and alerting systems for multiple clients
- Interact with teams and customers to ensure 24/7 support
- Administrate automated deployments using SSM documents, and scripting using Bash, PowerShell and/or Python
- Participate in work sessions with clients
- Complete technical documentation
- Deliver quality work in agile team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years’ experience in cloud computing
- Experience managing common AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in basic administration of MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB and/or ElasticSearch
- Automation experience using Terraform as an IAC tool
- Experience in capacity management
- Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR, etc.)
- Knowledgeable about networking and security
- Knowledgeable about configuration management frameworks such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
- Comfortable interacting with customers and clients
- Effective communication skills
- Azure, AWS and/or GCP Certification
