SUMMARY:
The Logistics Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of Company’s products, documents and items to the customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner. He/she will provide support to walk-in customers, existing orders and customers who require off-site assistance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations, excellent organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
This position is a full-time position and is based in Singapore.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and verify delivery documents, optimize delivery routes, and execute deliveries efficiently
- Manage customer pickups, returns, and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments
- Communicate with customers to confirm schedules and address logistics inquiries, providing timely solutions
- Adhere to protocols for handling materials, ensuring vehicle maintenance, safety, and compliance with company policies
- Maintain delivery logs, collect payments when necessary, and handle vehicle fueling and maintenance
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Director
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is a plus
- Great time management and organization skills
- Valid professional driver’s license for the required vehicle type
- Good driving and navigational skills with no prior violations
- Physical capability to handle and transport heavy cargo safely
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Flexible schedule to accommodate delivery and pickup demands, including evenings and weekends
