To provide research support service for Nursing clinical research. He/she works closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and members of the Nursing Research Team.
Main responsibilities:
• To assist in Institutional Review Board applications
• To assist in screening of participants for recruitment
• To assist in enrolling participants into the clinical study
• To organize participants’ visits, and ensure that all the required procedures are carried out
• To collect data and complete clinical reports
• To record and report adverse events
• To assist in maintaining and organization of study site file
• To assist the investigators in conducting clinical trial according to Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
• To communicate closely with the sponsor company and the investigators and provide ancillary services for the clinical trials.
• To ensure all study-related activities are carried out efficiently and coordinate project meetings.
• To participate in the preparation of abstracts, posters and manuscripts for dissemination of study results as well as reports as required by the funder.
• Other duties as specified by Department Head or Supervisor.
Job requirements:
• Bachelor in Science, Health Science, Nursing or a related field
• Good knowledge of computer applications e.g. Microsoft Access and Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS
• Team-oriented with strong coordination and organisational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skill
• Excellent interpersonal skill
• Good time management skill
