We are currently recruiting part-time Assistant Teachers for the period of Oct to Dec 2024 to support our holiday programmes for our centre located at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Undergraduates looking for holiday/part-time jobs are welcome to apply.
Job Responsibilities
· Assist Lead Teacher in implementing Mindchamps’ unique lesson plans and enrichment programmes in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the Centre
· Assist in guiding primary school students to ensure completion of their daily homework and other school assignments
· Assist in the preparation of teaching resources and materials
· Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and learning environment of classrooms
· Serve as an inspiring role model with a creative spirit and a champion (positive) mindset
· Ensure safety of students at all times
· Manage other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Centre Director
Job Requirements
· Minimally GCE A-levels or diploma in a relevant discipline
· Experience teaching or interacting with primary school students will be a strong advantage
· Familiarity with MOE primary school syllabus in English, Math, Science or Chinese
· Good communication and classroom management skills
· Enthusiastic, energetic and nurturing with a good ability to connect well with children
