Looking for a Wildlife Research Assistant (Ad-Hoc) to join us!
Mastermark is Singapore’s leading bird and wildlife management company, striving to provide innovative solutions through end-to-end services and products to help manage human-wildlife conflicts locally and abroad. You will be assisting the wildlife consultancy department in their day-to-day responsibilities, including airport wildlife consultancy services and environmental monitoring and management programmes.
What you will be working on:
- Field surveys and wildlife identification
- Data collation and analysis
- Literature review and report writing
- Wildlife carcass dissection and autopsy
- Protocol development of the above processes
- Experimental design and execution – such as manipulating environmental variables and assessing their impact on wildlife community composition, behaviour, etc.
What we are looking for:
- Minimally Diploma or ongoing undergraduate study in Life Sciences, Ecology, Environmental Management or related disciplines
- Experience with avian and terrestrial invertebrate identification would be preferable
- Skills in Microsoft Excel and QGIS will be an added advantage
As this is a ad-hoc position, you will be paid hourly ($10-$15 per hour) and/or on per assignment basis.
