Job Summary:
Support country management reporting, analysis, performance tracking and issue management, decision support, budgeting/planning, investment, contract appraisal and working capital control.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
· Target and estimate accuracy, working capital control, business performance (top line, costs, and EBIT), currency impact.
· Support line manager in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources.
· Coordinate country annual target setting activities. Implement global templates, distribute review timetables, and coordinate review planning.
· Prepare and consolidate information on country monthly performance based on various data sources for analysis purposes.
· Gather and compile financial data to support country on contractual negotiations, client/customer profitability analysis, internal and external presentations, issues tracking and management, investments, and other key developments.
· Furnish financial/management information as inputs to analyses of key financial items such as working capital utilization and cost development.
· Coordinate strategy setting sessions and assist in the preparation of relevant information/analysis for country strategy setting and strategic projects (e.g. M&A due diligence, restructurings, disposals, finance negotiations/management, etc.)
· Implement country continuous improvement initiatives to streamline controlling processes/reporting and improve efficiencies through a better utilization of automated systems.
· Support local internal interactions on matters related to business controlling to ensure timely understanding of financial performance and adequate management of any financial issues.
· Work to drive consistency of analytics and reporting. Provide high quality business control support to the country.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
· CPA preferred.
Minimum Experience:
· At least 7 years’ relevant experience, with minimum 3 year management experience
· Relevant exposure to local and global retail environment and a proven track record of managing people, operations, and clients.
· Proven hands-on experience in SAGE accounting applications is an advantage.
