We are seeking a detail-oriented to join our Steel team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of import and export transactions, preparing international shipping documents, and supporting various Steel related functions within the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage Import and Export Transactions:
o Coordinate and oversee import and export activities related to steel products.
o Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth shipments.
2. Prepare International Shipping Documents:
o Generate and review shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
o Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation to facilitate timely customs clearance and bank negotiation.
3. Support Accounting Functions:
o Assist in maintaining accurate financial records related to steel imports and exports.
o Reconcile shipping and accounting records to ensure consistency and accuracy for month end closing.
4. Provide Customer Support:
o Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipment details, and documentation requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in additional languages, especially relevant to international markets, is a plus.
