Job Responsibilities:
- Administer routine physical and occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of the therapist.
- Assist patients for ambulation training through the use of walkers, braces or parallel bars.
- Assist patients to perform exercises through the use of Physiotherapy exercise equipment.
- Supervise patients in practicing activities of daily living and leisure participation.
- Plan and facilitate group exercise and activity sessions under the guidance of the therapist.
- Observe patients’ reaction during treatment, ensure safety and report them promptly to the therapist.
- Perform administrative duties including documentation of patients’ exercises and activity sessions accordingly and attendance taking.
- Clean and sterilize equipment used and rehabilitation areas.
- Any other administrative duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment will be advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and a caring nature.
- Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength.
