Job description
The ideal candidate has a background of at least 3 years in the education field, working experience as kindergarten English teacher would be a major advantage. Perseverance, dedication and flexibility are must.
Requirements:
● You need to be able to adapt your teaching methodologies when necessary
● Being able to engage and motivate students
● Being proactive; showing initiative
● Punctuality
● Good time management skills
● Excellent communication skills
● Good problem-solving skills
● A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience.
●Understanding the ‘concept’ of tuition centers, this is an education -yet service-oriented industry, each student is treated as an individual, instead of a ‘number’.
●Willing to work in evenings, weekends, and in the daytime during peak periods.
**Important note: **
We are only looking for full-time teachers. The monthly salary ranges from 3,500 SGD to 4,500 SGD, depending on years of teaching experience and qualifications.
Duties:
●Preparing lessons plans, and tailor the lessons to students’ needs
●Providing (written) feedback on student progress
●Developing curriculum materials
●Identifying learning obstacles
●Supervising students during peak hours
● Other ad hoc tasks
Work schedule
● The work schedule is five or six days a week depending on candidates availability.
● 09:00 to 20:00 on weekdays; 09:00 to 18:00 on weekends. (Lunch and dinner break arranged in accordance with your schedule)
● Note that the schedule is subject to change during school breaks and on public holidays.
