Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic bartender to join our team. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations when necessary.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, following all cash handling procedures.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients, garnishes, and utensils at all times.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of alcoholic beverages and compliance with local health regulations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our drink menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, and stay informed about current beverage trends.
- Collaborate with other team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our customers.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the bar area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a similar establishment is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails and modern mixology techniques.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritising tasks as needed.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a food safety certificate.
