Job Description:
We are seeking a Part-Time Research Assistant (Contract) to join our health services research team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in participant coordination, recruitment, and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, screening, informed consent taking, appointment scheduling and participant follow-ups, alongside ad-hoc administrative research duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct participant recruitment and screening for ongoing studies in a tertiary re-structured hospital and at the National University of Singapore.
- Obtain informed consent from participants, ensuring ethical compliance.
- Coordinate and follow up on participants' research activities.
- Administer questionnaires with participants.
- Schedule appointments and send reminders to participants.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative research tasks (e.g., data entry, literature review, report preparation).
- Maintain accurate and organised records of participant interactions.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Life Sciences, other healthcare, or related field.
- Prior experience in clinical research or participant recruitment is encouraged but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, including remote work.
Working Hours:
- On-site: 6 to 8 hours on Tuesday and 6 to 8 hours on Friday.
- Remote: 2 to 4 hours on any other weekday (flexible).
