What You Will Do
- Wiring and Installation: Assist Control Engineers in wiring and installation of control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators.
- System Debugging: Support the debugging of control systems to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal PLC programming.
- System Testing: Conduct testing of control systems to verify functionality, accuracy, and reliability, as per engineering specifications.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and log data from control systems for analysis, assisting Control Engineers in identifying trends and potential areas of improvement.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates on control systems to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within control systems, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Assist in creating detailed documentation of wiring diagrams, system configurations, test results, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Field Wiring: Perform electrical field wiring of control system components, ensuring clean and organized wiring harnesses.
- Support in System Upgrades: Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and modifications, working closely with Control Engineers.
- Training Support: Help in training production operators and new technicians on the operation and maintenance of control systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
International Travel: Be willing to travel internationally up to 20% per year, if required.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- ITE or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical field.
