Job Description:


We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator to join our team, specializing in fire alarm and sprinkler systems. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of fire protection systems within mechanical and electrical projects.


Key responsibilities include:


Manage project documentation and ensure accurate records for fire alarm and sprinkler systems.

Create detailed AutoCAD drawings from scratch to completion, specific to fire protection systems.

Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets, ensuring project financials are aligned with company goals.

Conduct site inspections to monitor fire protection systems' installation, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Coordinate both commercial and residential fire alarm and sprinkler projects, delivering high-quality service.

Assist with LEW (Licensed Electrical Worker) testing and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Understand client needs and clearly communicate project scope, especially in the context of fire protection systems.

Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to guarantee seamless integration of fire protection systems within broader mechanical and electrical projects.

Ensure compliance with the Singapore BCA Code of Practice for Electrical and Mechanical systems.


Requirements:


Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD with a focus on fire alarm and sprinkler system designs.

Strong understanding of fire protection systems, along with general mechanical and electrical systems.

Experience in project costing and budget management, specifically for fire alarm and sprinkler systems.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and project teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain strong organizational control.

Willingness to visit job sites regularly for inspections and coordination.

Class 3 driving license is an added advantage.
