Cash Management is a core global product vertical within the Corporate Bank. We combine the best of traditional bank solutions with global payment service provider capabilities across the full value chain of treasury solutions, merchant acceptance, issuing & banking as a service. Our products range from . The Cash Management Strategy Office team acts as the interface along the entire global cash management product suite, to identify challenges, develop independent proposals, coordinate and drives project and initiative implementation together with subject matter experts across all areas of Corporate Cash Management, through to Merchant Solutions and Banking as a Service, to continuously drive and shape the CM Strategy and support the business to fulfill the financial and franchise ambitions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Be a subject matter expert on MS‘ Regional Expansion strategy, especially in regards to onboarding local acquiring rails, partnership network and regulatory requirements
  • Continuous re-assessment and evaluation of strategic regional expansion & business plan to support go to market and product rollout strategy in APAC incl. dynamic reprioritization of markets where applicable
  • Focus on Merchant Solutions China strategy, solutions innovation & network connectivity between Europe & North Asia i.e. payment methods / strategic partnerships to promote native Chinese payment methods for the European market
  • Ensure strong connectivity with Merchant Acceptance APAC to deliver towards both the CB APAC Strategy and Global Merchant Solutions through cross-divisional projects and initiatives
  • Work in close collaboration with all Asia based CM teams as well as CB APAC & MEA COO on global & regional strategic initiatives, on-going business reviews & updates, communication topics, and projects linked to payments and merchant acceptance globally
  • Support Global Cash Management Sales, Marketing & Business Development effort in the journey to add Merchant Acceptance APAC to the product suite and positioning material of the division

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 4 years professional experience in a global corporate bank in product solutions with at least 2 years linked to cash management, merchant acceptance or digital payments
  • Solid understanding of global payments market, in particular with focus on Payment Acceptance including technical understanding of solutions architecture, payment methods, flows, formats and payments regulation
  • Fluent language proficiency in English, Mandarin & German in order to specifically drive the North Asia to Europe solutions & corridor expansion
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful strategic initiatives across products and borders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated high levels of integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive strategic information.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint, with the ability to create complex analysis and compelling presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal,organizational, writing and communication skills, including ability to coordinate activities requiring participation of several stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
