Writing Sprouts Language Arts School is hiring for both locations:
1) Writing Sprouts, Katong: located on Joo Chiat Road, walking distance from i12 Katong mall
2) Writing Sprouts, Potong Pasir: located at the heart of Potong Pasir, steps away from Potong Pasir MRT and Poiz mall

Basic starting remuneration and benefits package to match qualifications, experience and job scope.
Working Hours
This is based on a 40 to 44 hour work-week plan, with earliest start time at 9am, and latest end time at 7pm. A typical weekly work schedule is fixed on a termly basis, according to operational requirements, and it comprises four weekdays plus Saturday or Sunday.
Your checklist for success:
- I HAVE at least a Bachelor degree.
- I HAVE at least two years of relevant teaching experience (e.g. with MOE, international schools, tuition or enrichment industry in Singapore).
- I AM familiar with the Singapore primary education landscape and examination requirements.
- I HAVE a strong grasp of grammar; a good awareness of writing techniques and what constitutes good writing.
- I LOVE working with children.
- I AGREE with Writing Sprouts' vision, teaching philosophies and mission, and in my big or little ways breathe them in my personal and/or work life.
- I AM a fast learner and able to adapt quickly to the School's teaching methods and culture.

You enjoy added advantages if
- Your degree specialisation is English Language or its equivalent/ are trained in creative writing/ journalism/ literature/ speech and drama/ performance theatre.
- You are open and able to teach at the preschool and/or secondary levels.
- You are open to work at both our locations
- You love children literature and you are familiar with children's book titles.
- You love reading and writing. Very often, you find yourself indulging in these hobbies.
