Information:
- Basic Salary: $2,600 - $3,500 depend on experience ;
- Polytechnic graduate:$2,600 ; ITE guaduate: $2,400 - $2,500
- Attendance: $40
- Morning Shift: 7am - 3pm; Afternoon Shift: 3pm - 11pm ($8.50/day); Night Shift: 11pm - 7am ($14/day)
- Company transport at various location in the west
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery on the assembly line to ensure smooth operation
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, identify and address any issues with machine operation
- Troubleshoot & repair production machines for mechanism and electrical issues to minimise downtime
- Inspections to identify potential malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance
- Work cross-functionally to identify areas for improvement in quality, productivity and cost reduction
- Develop/modifications to equipment and processes to enhance efficiency and performance
- Plan and execute improvement projects from conception to completion
- Evaluate existing processes and practices to identify opportunities for optimisation
- Propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and product quality
- Develop and update programming for automated production equipment to optimise performance
- Provide training to operators on the operation and maintenance of automated equipment as necessary
- Conduct washing to remove contaminants from ball bearings, ensure adherence to quality standards
- Perform test to assess quality and integrity of ball bearings, documenting results accurately
- Visual inspections to identify defects or abnormalities in the manufacturing process
- Compile audit work papers and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Assist in the development of audit protocols and procedures
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in work areas to promote efficiency and safety
- Review/recommend changes on procedures for work environment and safety aspects (E.g. IATF 16949, ISO14001, Safety Management Systems, etc.)
- Attend meetings, reviews, discussion and coordinate with Superior to achieve target and yield rate.
Requirements:
- ITE Nitec/Higher Nitec/Polytechnic diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic engineering
- Entry level are welcome to apply
- Comfortable wearing jumpsuit and cleanroom environment
- Able to commit monthly rotation shift work
