Project Management:
- Developing project plans, including the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Tracking project progress, identifying deviations from the plan, and preparing regular progress update for stakeholders.
Data Management and Reconciliation:
- Manage data cleaning and masking in the legacy systems, and facilitate the reconciliation of Finance records and data between legacy systems and the Cumulus system to ensure data integrity.
System Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements for the Cumulus Finance system, following the Cumulus global template and workbooks.
Data Pipeline Development:
- Work with the IT team to build a data pipeline between the legacy systems and Cumulus for seamless data transfer and integration.
User Testing:
- Participate in user testing activities to ensure the functionality and usability of the Cumulus system.
Change Management for Cumulus System:
- Support change management activities to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the Cumulus system.
Assist in preparation of Finance SOPs:
- Set up frameworks, processes, templates and approving authorities for key finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivables (fees and charges), asset management, tax reporting and financial reporting (month-end and year-end), that are aligned with the Finance Government Instruction Manuals and Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards
- Any other requirement related to Cumulus project, or ad-hoc projects / responsibilities as assigned by Deputy Head, Finance Services and Financial Reporting and Lead, Budget.
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Accountancy and/or is a Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing key finance functions and preparation of full set of accounts, including group accounts, of statutory boards or private sector companies as well as managing the external audit process
- Familiar with prevailing Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards, Finance Government Instruction Manuals as well as best practices in financial governance and control
- Experience in data migration and system implementation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and prior experience in Workday will be an added advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
