The MICE Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of MICE-related sales activities in D.Marquee., ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions. The role involves managing a team, developing client relationships, driving revenue through effective sales strategies, and ensuring all events meet the company's quality standards and client expectations.
Job Description
- Handle Client's brief and submission of quotation
- Assist with pitches and proposal submission
- Work with internal and external 3rd parties to pull together the required services
- Liaise with subcontractors on project requirements
- Engage in price negotiation and manage profitability
- Manage proper SOP documentation
- Follow up with authority on regulatory requirements
- Provide on-site support for events.
- Able to independently concept and piece up a creative proposal deck
- Assist to lead and guide a team of event executives in the near future
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Events Management or related studies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the event sales industry
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Basic AVL knowledge
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to timelines
- A team player and adaptable to changes
- Good presentation, sales or negotiation skills
- Able to work on weekends (including Public Holidays)
