Qualifications & experience
- Diploma / Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in International Air Cargo / Freight forwarding industry, with a strong focus on co-loading, is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent in Sales and marketing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Tasks & responsibilities
- In charge of Co-Loading sales to provide seamless and customer-focused solutions through our various airline products. (Target customers - 3PL and/or logistics)
- Develop new customers within the industry vertical and target customers
- Prepare a target of key accounts and effectively establish Air products/ services on focused trade lanes.
- Weekly sales calls, follow up on all air sales leads.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to FF Sales leader.
- Timely response to customer’s question and request.
- Organize and participate in regular reviews with the accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and business retention
- Ensure Personal sales targets and KPI are met
- Provide rate quotes to customers and potential customers
- Identify, prospect, develop and grow new sales revenue and increase the count of qualified, sizeable opportunities
- Develop a robust understanding of new and existing customer supply chains via a consultative selling approach, and thereafter aligning relevant solutions that address customer needs and wants
- Prepare competitive quotations, customer proposals and bespoke solutions tailored to customer expectations and requirements
- Build strong relationships and ensure ongoing success and sustainability of the accounts/targets
- Develop and implement sales strategies that enhance company’s probability of success and ensure effective and timely implementation
- Accurate and timely pipeline management via the approved CRM tool of choice
- Coordinate resources and collaborates internally with the Organization’s network to allow for effective positioning and successful selling of the Organization’s breadth of Products
- Gain useful insights on industry trends, market intelligence and communicate internally and externally
- Act as an advocate for customers, internally conveying their customer-specific needs across the organization to ensure proper alignment and prioritization of resources
- Work with relevant stakeholders across geographies and/or Divisions to ensure an aligned approach to new customer acquisition and/or targeted growth opportunities
- Supports Accounts Receivables and ageing issues where required
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
