Job Type: One-year Renewable Contract
Responsibilities: -
· Co-ordinate with System Admins team for both Non-Prod and Prod environment
· Maintain and support the regulatory reporting application BAU runs for SG, AU and TW
· Performing issue and incident analysis
· Provide timely update and ensuring relevant stakeholder as kept abreast of any issue or maintenance activities taking place on the servers.
· Support patches as per calendar and perform below activities:
- RHEL Upgrades
- OS Patches
- DB Patches,
- ISCD-Server Hardening,
- DR Flips,
- NVA Issues,
· Common activities like,
- New Server procuring requests
- Firewall Requests
- NVA issues related to App follow ups and Fix
- UAM (User Access Management)- Function IDs & Security groups creation and Management, Cyber-Arc lodging and Maintenance
· VM Maintenance activities like,
- Adding RAM
- Adding CPU
- Any Housekeeping activities
- Able to write basic scripts
- Key Exchange between servers
· Help in change management - CR processes
· Other project related common activities w.r.t Marketplace, UAMS, Infra and PCF related activities.
Requirements
· 5-7+ years of hands-on experience working as in a production support environment
· Should have a solid technical skill with diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally.
· Thought leader in the group especially in the end-to-end solutioning.
· Experience in deploying application in a containerized environment using PCF.
· In-Depth OS experience (RHEL, Windows Server) with strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
· Hand-on experience with microservice and batch-based technologies and tools especially in deployment, monitoring and operations, such as, Elasticsearch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
· Strong working knowledge of modern development technologies and tools such Agile, CI/CD, Git, Terraform and Jenkin
· Hands on experience of MSSQL, Oracle and or other Big Data DB’s as well as hands on experience on ETL processes.
· Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Core technical competency required:-
· 5-7+ years of hands-on experience working as in a production support environment
· Hand-on experience with microservice and batch-based technologies and tools especially in deployment, monitoring and operations, such as, Elasticsearch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
· Strong working knowledge of modern development technologies and tools such Agile, CI/CD, Git, Terraform and Jenkin
· Linux; Unix Shell Scripting
· SQL, MariaDB/MySQL
· Preferably banking
· In-Depth OS experience (RHEL, Windows Server) with strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Working Hours
· Normal office hours i.e. 9am to 6pm, however it is a 24x7 support and the support person needs to be on call
· Be available on weekends for Production deployment supports
