Job Title: Regional IT Support Specialist
Our Client: A well-regarded intellectual property firm in the Asia-Pacific, specializing in patent, trademark, and design protection. They assist clients across numerous sectors in securing and managing their IP rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support for end users with PC applications and infrastructure
- Act as a primary contact for internal users seeking technical help via the support ticketing system for systems and network issues
- Ensure strict adherence to operational and change processes, as well as architectural principles
- Support projects by facilitating the transition to business-as-usual (BAU) support, identifying operational needs for new systems or changes, determining required resources for projects or change requests, and maintaining consistency in IT change implementations
- May need to work outside regular hours and on weekends occasionally based on business needs
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, with 2 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Windows Desktops, Servers and Networking and Virtualisation technologies, Microsoft 365, and Cloud
- Experience in IT operational processes, Help Desk processes, Systems maintenance, and IT Ticketing Tool
- Able to work independently while also being effective in a collaborative team setting
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively influence and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels
