Responsibilities
- Perform electrical wiring and installation works according to required specifications, drawings and work instructions
- Build and install electrical control panels
- Perform soldering, assembly and installation of electrical components
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits to verify wiring accuracy
- Conduct QC checks on mechanical parts and electrical components
- Assist Engineers in the installation, testing and commissioning of new machines
- Assist Engineers in problem-solving, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair
- Support Engineers in R&D activities to develop new machines
- Ensure good housekeeping and safe working environment in assembly workshop
- Perform other technical tasks as assigned by Management
Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably with minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical wiring for machines
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings
- Experience in electro-pneumatics and PLC wiring is an advantage
- Organized, responsible, hardworking and able to work independently
- Strong team player and hands-on person with good trouble-shooting skills
- Able to work under tight schedules and meet assembly deadlines
- Able to work overtime and weekends when required
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
