In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for an experienced Microsoft Business Intelligence Software Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team of Digital Excellence Center department. This person will be a part of a dynamic team, focused on massively improving the operational efficiency of the organization related to on premise or on our hybrid platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented team player to be part of a technology team that is responsible of a portfolio of solutions for various business lines of the bank (Risk, Finance, Compliance, Market Risk, Trade Finance, Operations, and Advanced analytics tools evaluations).
This position requires a candidate with,
· At least a bachelor degree in computer studies or relevant experience with MSBI
· Minimum 6 years of experience with Microsoft BI stack components
• 4+ years of experience in SSIS (ETL / ELT) and PowerBI / SSRS
• 2+ years of experience in SQL Data warehousing design & development
· Good exposure / experience with SSAS (specifically on Tabular)
· Expertise in data modeling, SQL query and performance tuning
· Proactive style of working with a strong ethos of continuous learning.
Role of MSBI Software Engineer encompasses:
- Gather business requirements from Clients / Business Analysts
- Design & Develop new functionalities based on requirements
- Maintain a high standard of delivery quality
- Support existing BI application on their evolution based on the urgency
- Innovate and look for new solutions/components
- Build POCs to demonstrate new usage and present them in senior audience
- Ensure project documentations are up to date (technical design, deployment guide, release notes, etc.)
- Implement any possible automation of a recurrent process
- Work closely with the team, internal stakeholders and other cross functional teams
Nice to have (additional skills preferred, but not mandatory)
- Exposure to other data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik)
- Exposure with data processing pipelining using Python, Spark, etc
- Exposure to programming with C#.Net
- Knowledge of BIML
