The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Provide on-site and remote IT support for Windows desktop environments.
- Manage and Maintain Active Directory and Group Policies on a Hybrid Solution.
- Manage the deployment of client machines using PXE automation and deployment systems.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including remote management and monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on client machines.
- Manage IT inventory, including tracking and maintaining hardware and software assets.
- Collaborate with other teams to support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:
- Degree/Diploma/ITE in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT desktop support, with a focus on Windows environments.
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Client, MCSA or CompTIA are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, deployment automation, and remote management tools.
- Experience with IT inventory management and asset tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
