Role Purpose and Overview:
The Change Management Lead at Prudential Singapore's Transformation Office (TO) is tasked with orchestrating the human aspects of transformation across the organization, including close collaboration with HR and the Head of CDIB to embed the culture movement into our transformation efforts. This role is critical in managing and facilitating strategic "from-to" shifts to evolve company culture and practices in alignment with Project objectives.


Job Description:


Impact of Role:

  • Cultural Transformation: Champions the PruWay culture, driving the transition towards a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and performance-oriented culture, aligning organizational behaviors with the future state envisioned by Project.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engages stakeholders at all levels, driving support and commitment to transformation initiatives by articulating the benefits of moving from current states to desired future states. This includes HR and the Head of CDIB to ensure broad-based support for transformation initiatives.
  • Adoption and Utilization: Ensures the effective adoption and utilization of new practices, reinforcing the importance of the strategic shifts in mindset and behavior across the organization.
  • Skill Development and Empowerment: Facilitates the development of skills and competencies that empower employees to embrace and lead change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and agility.
  • Measurement and Adjustment: Establishes metrics to assess the impact of change management activities, leveraging insights to continuously adapt and refine strategies for maximum effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Change Implementation: Partner with HR and the Head of CDIB to develop and implement change management strategies that support the PruWay culture movement and implement comprehensive change management strategies that align with Project's vision, ensuring the organization transitions from siloed to collaborative, passive to entrepreneurial, and process-oriented to performance-oriented. You will identify critical "from-to" shifts and create targeted programs to facilitate these transformations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Design and execute effective communication plans that articulate the purpose, benefits, and expectations of the transformation efforts to all stakeholders. You will act as a bridge, fostering open dialogue and building consensus among teams, leaders, and individual contributors to support and champion the change.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the creation and delivery of training programs that equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new ways of working. You will ensure that training initiatives are aligned with the desired cultural shifts, enabling employees to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and performance-oriented environment.
  • Change Readiness and Impact Assessments: Conduct thorough change readiness assessments and impact analyses to identify potential resistance and barriers to change. You will develop proactive strategies to address these challenges, ensuring a smooth transition for all employees.
  • Feedback Loops and Continuous Improvement: Establish mechanisms for feedback and continuous dialogue around change initiatives, allowing for real-time adjustments and improvements. You will monitor the effectiveness of change management strategies, making data-driven decisions to enhance adoption and engagement.
  • Cultural Advocacy: Champion the new cultural paradigm within Prudential Singapore, leading by example and encouraging others to embody the entrepreneurial, collaborative, and performance-oriented mindset. You will play a key role in embedding these values deeply into the organizational fabric, ensuring they are reflected in every action and decision.

Role Requirements / What You Bring to the Team:

You are a transformative leader with a proven track record in leading organizational change and fostering a culture of collaboration, entrepreneurship, and performance orientation. With a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of change management principles, you are adept at guiding an organization through its transformation journey.


Working Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related field, with a strong focus on leading cultural and behavioral change within large, complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing significant organizational changes, driving cultural shifts, and enhancing organizational performance.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications in change management, organizational psychology, or leadership are highly regarded.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Certifications or formal training in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Change Model) are preferred.
  • Proven ability to apply strategic thinking and analytical skills to complex organizational challenges.

Language:

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex change processes and strategies clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong leadership and influence skills, capable of inspiring and mobilizing individuals and teams towards embracing change.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with HR practices and cultural transformation programs, particularly those focused on fostering diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the organizational change framework.
  • High degree of adaptability, with the resilience to navigate uncertainties and lead others through change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning and development, staying current with the latest trends and best practices in change management and organizational transformation.
