Purpose and Scope
As an Operations Executive, you will be responsible for the depot operational matters including daily deployment of drivers and route planning.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily planning of routes for the day and night.
- Oversee the daily deployment of forklift and hook lift prime mover drivers.
- Visit sites and respond to client and public complaints.
- Investigate accidents, record accidents, and handle any other relevant matters.
- Conduct toolbox briefings; verify that all vehicles are in good operating order before deployment.
- Check that open-top containers are in good working order and have them inspected before the SAC date expires
- Keep an eye on drivers' attendance and discipline, and compile and monitor tonnages and trip counts.
- Conducting route audits and reporting excessive waste.
- Monitoring the movement and routes of drivers and vehicles.
- Assist in managing consumer relationships.
- Oversee customer orders and close them once completed.
- Report and follow-up with clients.
- Coordinate logistics for special projects.
- Collaborate with HSE Team to maintain depot safety and movement.
- Collaborate with Fleet Management on vehicle planning and inspection.
- Maintain corporate assets, such as vehicles, cash cards, first aid kits, and spill kits.
- Provide covering for drivers and crews during shortages
- Cross-trained to assist with coverage in other departments.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
- Completed GCE O level / Diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years’experience in Logistics / Operations Management
- Preferably with own transport
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Preferably with Class4 license
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to stay communicated after office hours for replying clients request and
- deployment of drivers when need.
