We are in the midst of a rapid and exciting transformation across the organization, executing a customer-centric strategy, adopting new technologies, scaling ways of working, revamping our structures, and building new business capabilities.


You will be reporting to the Lead, Distribution Platforms, one of the digital verticals in the Distribution Digital Enablement Team.


You will be responsible for the maintenance and backlog prioritization of our core existing distribution business platform capabilities and deputize the Lead, Distribution Platforms. You will focus on enhancing core distributor business platforms by streamlining and improving systems and processes to modernize and future-proof the business.


Job Description:


The role will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:


Digital:

  • Develop a strong knowledge of Distribution’s platforms and systems and proactively seek opportunities to improve or streamline business processes enabled by these platforms/systems.
  • Current platforms/systems: POE, OPOE, PRUJourney, PSE, LA, Spidergate.
  • Prioritize the Distribution request backlog and manage the delivery timeline based on business urgency and Technology resources.
  • Steer requirements for enhancement on existing platforms/systems by working closely with the business team in Distribution.
  • Oversee delivery quality by working closely with the Technology and Quality Assurance teams in testing.
  • Communicate timely to all relevant channels on new enhancements, system maintenance, as well as unforeseen incidents.
  • Drive, execute, and update project milestones and deliverables.

People and Business Leadership:

  • Coach and empower the team to elevate their learning experience in delivery and growth.


Who we are looking for:


Competencies & Personal Traits:

  • Strong ability to handle ambiguity and high work pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Possess the ability to build relationships and influence key and senior stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
  • Demonstrated idea generator, innovative and solutions-oriented with the ability to drive outcomes.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Versatile in working independently as well as an effective team player.
  • Good business acumen.

Working Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years in financial services related industry; and
  • Preferred experience in digital transformative change and business process innovation, with the ability to navigate large and complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in project management, change management, and operational roles, with prior experience in multi-channel or omnichannel environments within the financial/insurance industry.
  • Proven track record in leading collaboratively by working successfully with others in cross-functional teams to create solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Certifications in project management such as PMP/Agile/Scrum will be a plus.

Education:

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Language:

  • Strong command of the English language (written and spoken).
  • Fluency in any other languages is welcome.
