Objective:
We are looking for a Field Application Engineer to drive new projects and business pipelines for FY24 growth.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for pre & post sales requirements of Company’s Power Quality products (preparing technical documents & commercial proposals)
• Provides technical support to distributors and key account customer for troubleshooting, on-site testing and commissioning
• Provides trainings to distributors and customers to enhance their capabilities
• Responsible for design-in (spec-in) of company’s products with the distributor in the appointed territory and market segments, achieve yearly design-in targets
• Lookout for opportunities to cross out competitor part
• Coordinate PQ Application and On-site Measurement Services in line with the company strategy
• Maintains good relationship with both end-users, local distributors, external test laboratories and build customer loyalty through field visits
• Maintenance of existing customers base and achieve development of new potential customers.
• Effective use of CRM/CAS system to record key activities, including customer visit/call reports and opportunities
• Able to communicate and work well with internal departments.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Strategic Account Manager or/and Sales Manager
Job Requirements:
• Possess fundamental PQ Harmonic knowledge and application.
• Basic knowledge of EMC / EMI compliance is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering or other relevant majors
• Prefer minimum 3 years technical experience in the field of industrial products
• Able to operate common test equipment like voltage meter, clamp meter, oscilloscope, analyzer, etc.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Well-versed in basic MS Office tools (eg. Word, Excel) and SAP (preferred)
• Interpersonal savvy
• Good follow up and consultative approach attitude
• Able to work independently and resourceful
