Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced SAP BOBJ Lead to join our team and drive innovation in report development, data modelling, and system integration. This role requires a strong technical background in SAP BOBJ, ABAP CDS, and REST API programming, along with the ability to lead and mentor a talented reports team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the reports team, offering mentorship and technical guidance.
· Oversee the full cycle of report development, deployment, and maintenance using SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) suite.
· Handle BOBJ administration, including user management, security, and authorization tasks.
· Design and implement REST API integrations to enable seamless data communication between BOBJ and other systems.
· Lead the development of HANA ABAP CDS views, ABAP RAP services, and SEGW Fiori Gateway services for reporting needs.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
· Design and develop Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and dashboards to fulfil business requirements.
· Perform Analytics CDS data modelling to derive actionable insights from raw data.
· Implement and manage CDS and SAP authorization concepts to ensure data security.
· Customize WebI report layouts for optimal user experience.
· Partner with the Technical Architecture team for SAP BOBJ updates/upgrades and ensure system verification post-updates.
