Job Responsibilities
1. To operate aida 2,000t press machine (blanking) daily with other production staffs as a team.
2. Able to perform 2nd shift duties upon request from management.(2nd shift duties from 1430 hrs till 2330 hrs).
3. Able to perform 3rd shift duties upon request from management.(3rd shift duties from 2230 hrs till 0730 hrs).
4. On the job training will be provided by production senior line leader.
5. Others ad hoc duties such as,cleaning of machine & working areas,sorting of defectives parts,simple trouble shooting of machine.
6. Knowledge of arc welding in repair of wire mesh carton would be an advantage.
7. Safety oriented mindset
8. Trainee will be sent for safety orientation course for workers (metalworking) & safety forklift driving course.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Few years of experience in stamping/blanking preferable aida stamping machine would be an advantage.
2. Experience in tool & die/mould would be an advantage.
3. Knowledge in using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper,micrometer,dial gauge,etc..
4. Have own mode of transport (car or motorcycle).
5. Independent & pro active.
6. Min.education level : GCE 'O' Level, Nitec or SPM.
7. Knowledge in work safety & health issue matters.
8. Working location will be in Tuas South.
